The 5G fronthaul passive WDM system launched by TRUSTNUO Communication is mainly used to solve the problem of lack of optical fiber transmission cable resources between DU-AAU in the C-RAN architecture.
The characteristics of the solution are that the DU side adopts active WDM, and the AAU side adopts passive WDM. The management and protection functions of the fronthaul bearer network are realized through the intervention of active devices.
At the same time, the simple and low-cost characteristics of remote passive are taken into account, and the network is improved. Reliability also improves the manageability and O&M of the fronthaul network.
